About Whaddon
The ancient small village of Whaddon is situated close to the A1198 and its larger neighbour, Bassingbourn. Its church’s square-turreted steeple, dating back to the late 14th Century, can be seen for some way across the flat fields that surround Whaddon’s homes.
Though there is no country pub here, the village does have a golf range with pitch and putt course, which has its own club bar. There is also a village hall on the site of a nicely-sized recreational ground and children’s play area.
